CLEAR – Amend the City Charter Discussions

We will be holding a series of discussion sessions to consider various options for amending the City Charter to call for direct election of a mayor, as well as possible changes to “Jim Crow” era election laws that are still in place and other election reforms that will allow for better representation of Charlottesville residents. We will particularly focus on those who’s voices have for too long been diminished or ignored. These meetings will be open to the public.
